Hello people! I know for many, it’s snowy and yucky outside, but this time of year, many people are gearing up for spring running, including races big and small. After running more than I ever imagined possible last year, I’m turning it up a notch for this year.
I’ve signed up for my very first half marathon (ahhhh!) and it takes place this April in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. (RBE Travels coming too!)
Get a look at a past iteration of this race and it’s beautiful location with this video from “3 viewsport Adrenalina al maximo.”
Of course, since my longest race to date has been a 10K, I’ve got some training to do. I’ve been working on being consistent, even if that means treadmill running. I’m also signing up for a few other races before the big one in April to get my momentum going.
In looking for tips to improve my form, strength and speed, I came across Nike Run Club’s new Ready, Set, Go Guide. It focuses on more than just the basics, covering things like consistency & recovery as well. Here’s a look at some of the awesome stuff inside.
