A few months ago when I started this blog, I thought it would be easy to chronicle my journey towards a more healthy and fit lifestyle. I am already on the computer 24/7 for work and leisure, so it seemed like an easy task. Yeah, no!
As with any big lifestyle change, finding time is the hard part, then sticking with it is the rest of the battle. I’m happy to say that I’ve stuck with the fitness and diet changes, however, even if I haven’t always been able to blog about it. I was supposed to check in 90 days after my first measurement to see my progress, but I was chicken. I knew I had lost about 5 lbs. and it didn’t seem to match up with all the work I’ve been putting in. I just couldn’t bring myself to check my progress on measurements because I was afraid that if I didn’t see any, I might just give up.
Well today I finally followed up, and was pleasantly surprised to find I had lost a combined 10.25 inches all over! How’s that for motivation?!

So, my friends, if you find yourself losing motivation, or if you’re upset that you’ve “only” lost 5 lbs., etc., perhaps you should take the time to do some measurements. You might be surprised at the progress you’ve really made!
